[Movies] Thundercats Headed To Big Screen

Warner Bros. has announced that they are bringing the 1980s cartoon/toy franchise, Thundercats, to the big screen. Paula Weinstein, Dick Robertson, and Lew Korman will produce with the script written by Paul Sopocy.
According to Variety, "Sopocy has written the script as an origin story expanding on the major heroes and villains from the animated series, with the plot focusing on Lion-O coming of age as the leader of the Thundercats."
The show focuses on a species of humanoid cats who escape their doomed world of Thundera and go to Third Earth where they get in battles with the evil Mumm-ra.
